Melo featured on NIHR Brain Injury Podcast

We were delighted to be invited onto the NIHR HealthTech Research Centre in Brain Injury podcast recently to talk about Melo™ - our AI-powered behavioural assessment platform - and the exciting new work we’re doing as part of a 12-month project funded by the NIHR i4i Programme.

In the episode, James Piercy from NIHR speaks with our Co-founder and Product Director, James Chapman, about the challenges of managing behaviour after brain injury, how Melo supports clinicians on the frontline, and what the future holds for digital tools in neurorehabilitation.

This podcast forms part of our new collaboration with the NIHR HealthTech Research Centre in Brain Injury, supported by a year-long innovation grant. The project is helping us to:

  • Advance technical development of the Melo platform

  • Grow our patient and public involvement activities

  • Work with leading clinical and academic experts

  • Strengthen our evidence base and long-term value proposition

We’re grateful to the NIHR for backing our mission to improve care and give time back to clinicians.

Thanks again to James Piercy for the brilliant conversation—and to the whole NIHR team for championing innovation in this space.
